Mars Desert Research Station On December 26, 2001, I had the opportunity to visit the MDRS first hand. Our family was vacationing at Bryce Canyon National Park, and I took a day and drove up to Hanksville to check out the Hab. The image above is a 3-D stereo pair, arranged for viewing with the 'Cross-Eyed' technique. The GreenHab is the smallish cylinder to the right of the Hab itself.
